How Gjecaj Alpine Restaurant Cuisine handles the details you provide when booking a table.
What we collect
When you make a reservation we collect your name, phone number, email address and any notes you add (e.g. dietary requirements). We also record the date, time and size of your reservation.
If you reach the booking page through one of our labelled links (for example from Instagram, Facebook or our website), we record only that short channel label alongside the reservation, to understand which of our own links guests use. We do not store the full web address, the site you came from, your IP address or any advertising identifiers.
Why we use it
Your details are used only to manage your reservation — to confirm it, send you a confirmation and any changes/cancellations by email, prepare your table, and contact you if needed. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Analytics & cookies
On the booking pages only, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the reservation flow is used. Measurement is anonymous: using Google Consent Mode v2, it runs without cookies or identifiers and with all advertising signals disabled unless you choose “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner, which allows analytics cookies for more accurate measurement. Your choice never affects your reservation, and you can change or withdraw it at any time using the “Cookie settings” link on the booking pages.
We record only anonymous funnel steps — reaching the booking page (reservation_view), selecting a time (reservation_slot_selected), continuing to the details form (reservation_details_started) and completing a reservation (reservation_complete) — each with a few non-identifying figures: party size, seating area (indoor / outdoor / no preference), the booking-link channel, and how many days ahead the booking is. We never send your name, email, phone, notes, reservation reference or any booking link to Google, and advertising/remarketing signals stay disabled.
A confirmation email is sent to you and to the restaurant. It includes a one-click link that lets you cancel your reservation at any time.
Retention
Reservation records are kept to manage bookings and returning-guest history. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
